Welcome to StudioRhi.com, my name is Rhiannon Owens. Currently, I reside in Jacksonville FL where I have been for the last fourteen years. Originally born in Japan, I moved throughout my childhood to many states thanks to my father being in the military. As a child I grew up with no siblings and a very overactive imagination, spending many hours reading fairytales, graphic novels, and doodling on any type of paper surface. It was not uncommon to leave behind a sketch on a napkin when I went out to dinner with mom and dad or even in the leaves of books I borrowed from the public library. In 1992 I moved from New Jersey to Florida and enrolled in a magnet school program that brought me to a high school for Performing and Visual Arts. It was a lot like the movie "Fame", but without the dancing in fountains and singing on top of taxicabs in the street. Through this school my individual talent was encouraged, nurtured, and honed. After graduation I set out to try to apply the technical skills I'd learned in as many jobs as possible.

Over the past seven years I have spent my time as an entertainer across ten states. While not on stage, I use my design talents creating and sewing costumes and other garments for both myself and other professional entertainers. Additionally I hold numerous titles; I have been on Television, and in local print publications while creating a name for myself.

In the last couple of years I have begun to turn my attentions away from the spotlight and more towards my first passion, my artwork. Through my experiences both abroad and at home I believe my determination has been turned into inspiration in such a way as to enable my imagination to come to life and allow me to do what it is I love the most; create.
